    JYAP your forgetting anyone who would be dueling a mage 1v1 would either grab kd and some massive hp very very few people would have a low hp guy without HIPS igms isnt very powerful AT ALL never was never will be true strike disintigrate will always be better

    IGMS isn't that powerful...which is why everyone suffers under it? If all the classes got magic resist at some point, you'd be right, but no, that doesn't happen. IGMS does the full 2d6 (keyword) damage PER MISSILE which could mean 84+ damage total.

    IGMS can kill a single target easily but you guys know mirror image makes up to 8 images right...... thats 8 dead missiles meaning maximum damage of 144 at lvl 20 ^^ then there is spell resistance which affects each missile and then the fact if you ar enot shit for brains your gonna use summons in NWN2 and if your a fighter kd works great and you will have huge hp and if your a rogue you have hips so i dont see the problem

    1/3 of that awesome HP dissipates almost instantly when you get hit with IGMS. Also, Spell Resistance affects the spell as a whole. That said, Spell Penetration > Most Spell Resistance. Spell Resistance in general, if you don't have the spell, is quite expensive, and even if you do have the spell, Spell Breach will kill it quickly.

    We are talking NWN 2 here Protoss learn nwn2 before you speak each missile gets a SR check at lvl 20 ( when IGMS is even remotely Dangerous ) SR is 31 for subraces and 32 for the spell a summon dire bear spell will absorb half the missiles and mirror image takes care of 8 more so you get hit with 2 2d6 missiles. .

    The Point is in team pvp IMGS is pointless there are scarier spells in nwn2
    true strike + disintegrate which makes u roll a fort ave or die if you succeed in the save you take 20d6 damage

    I agree that in Team PvP there should be too many people on the field of battle for IMGS to have much of any effect.

    Agreed tahst why firebrand got popular its reverse IGMS IGMS > single firebrand > many
