Well just got around to doing a trial of CoH and reading up on CoV the stand alone/expansion.
These are pay to play but unlike other pay to plays instead of a fantasy or sci fi genre this plays out in a comic book world allowing you to create a hero or villan made on purpose or accident, mutant, science experiment or plain old trained hard and now i kick butt and go fight the other side.
there are missions/quests to do or stop bank heists, bombings, street violence, help sick people, stop accidents you name it and it can be a mission for a hero or villan.
its a pretty rich world from the look of it and plenty of options in making your character.
