Since everybody else is going around saying it, I guess it's okay. I'm in the NWN2 beta test! W00t! While you guys are busy playing your Warcraft, I'll be getting my NWN2 on. Unfortunately, that...
This one too.
Heh. School is a cakewalk compared to the "real world". When you are applying for a job no one gives a crap what your high school grades were, but a lot of times they'll check your credit report. ...
Dwarves are considered the best non-ECL race in DnD, while half-orcs and half-elves are considered the worst.
It occurs to me that this post might not even be allowed, and I'm not going to screw up what I've got going for me. For those of you who haven't read it (everyone except Al it seems :D ), I'll fill...
Curse Song never gave your entire party +6 regen or +4 AB and damage or 5/- DR, certainly not before epic levels. Inspirations are always active and can be used an unlimited number of times per day....
The tentative release date is October 17.
I had one noob try to convince me that bastard swords hit more often than longswords. Because they're cooler, I guess.
Remeber, bards now get bard songs and inspirations, so it evens out. You might even say they're better than before.
Not entirely. While it has been severely limited, it's pretty much obsolete with the way skill points are now handled. If I want a rogue/barbarian with 20 points in UMD and Tumble I can still do it...
*gives JYAP a hug*
*JYAP runs off a cliff screaming, landing on the next poster*
The ruleset that NWN2 is using caps Harm at 150 HP. Up to level 15 it only does 10 HP per level. Also, Curse Song is out.
They changed it so that every time it is used everyone in the vicinity gets to make Spot and Listen checks, rather than the one per round they get in NWN. I'm not sure, but I think they may have...
Summons, familiars, animal companions, and henchmen all sucked XP. In NWN2 only party members are considered when calculating XP. Your party mates will be customizable in that you can pick their...
*monk sr ftw*
*wizard cohort spams Undeath to Death at JYAP*
If you can get to him before I kill him he's all yours.
*pushes big red button*
*temporal rift throws the entire pub back to the mid-80s*
*everyone is forced to wear big hear, bigger shoulder pads, slap bracelets, and spandex while listening to 80s synth music*
Oooh, oooh! Dibs on the warlock!
I seriously doubt servers are actually going to start banning rangers and assassins. HiPS should be much more managable now, and getting your Spot and/or Listen scores up shouldn't be too difficult.
Summons aren't supposed to leech XP, and in NWN2 they no longer do.
They get a lot of bonuses to saving throws and 4 of the 5 levels count as if you were still leveling as a cleric/wizard/sorc/druid/warlock. You essentially give up 1 caster level for more HP and...
That reminds me. HiPS has been fixed for NWN2, although assassins and rangers now get it too.
Zerg rush. Wasn't pretty.
